Job summary

Bluegrass Orthopaedics seeks a Workers’ Compensation Manager to lead and grow our workers’ comp program across multiple sites. You will own the full journey from referral to return to work, coordinating with physicians, employers, and nurse case managers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of workers’ compensation experience, strong analytics, and excellent customer service. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with HIPAA and medical terminology knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on workers’ compensation experience, ideally in healthcare.
• Knowledge of Kentucky workers’ compensation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the workers’ comp team: hiring, coaching, service standards.
• Oversee workflow from referral to return to work, including authorizations and scheduling.
• Track KPIs and report on referral growth, revenue, retention, and satisfaction.
• Travel between sites and to employers as needed.
