Job summary

EmployU, Inc is seeking a Youth Employment Specialist in Port Saint Lucie, FL to directly support clients through Work Based Learning referrals. You will communicate with clients, supports, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to build relationships and fulfill client goals.

Responsibilities include intake, placement coordination, and writing professional case notes in the CRM. Evening/weekend availability and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Develops new business relationships to enable WBLE for clients.
• Assists with client intake to set expectations and complete documentation.
• Places clients in appropriate WBLE locations with required support.
• Creates accommodations to ensure WBLE success (task lists, reminders, learning-style adjustments).
• Coordinates with job-site supervisors to address issues quickly.
• Maintains communication with families about progress and challenges.
• Keeps clients and supports informed on appointments and interviews.
• Prepares accurate case notes and deliverables in the CRM for VR approval.
• Reviews staff training on new policies and processes.
• Performs monthly summary reviews as instructed.
• Communicates with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors for updates.
• Maintains shared calendars and assists with special programs.
• Drives clients to various locations as needed.
• Completes other required duties as directed.
