Owens & Minor seeks an experienced Manager of Value Chain Analytics to transform complex data into strategic insights across the value chain. You will lead analytics initiatives, develop advanced data solutions, and enable data-driven decision-making using modern BI tools.

The role covers designing scalable data models, dashboards, and automated reporting, with emphasis on data integrity and stakeholder communication. A strong background in SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data analytics experience with business insight generation.
• Minimum 5 years in IT or adjacent to IT with troubleshooting exposure.
• Proficiency in advanced data mining, predictive analytics, data mapping and integration.
• Strong SQL skills across multiple tables and data sources.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools for dashboards.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis and BI concepts.
• Experience building dashboards that drive business decisions.
• Proven track record applying analytics to revenue growth and efficiency.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of operational data assets and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Educate and empower business partners with training on data literacy and reporting tools.

Job Description : The Manager of Value Chain Analytics plays a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable business insights. This role leads strategic analytics initiatives, develops advanced data solutions, and enables data-driven decision-making across the value chain using modern BI tools and technologies.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - 140,000 annually plus 10% AIP eligibility. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Core Responsibilities :

• Lead cross-functional analytics projects to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets, delivering insights that drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, automated reporting systems, and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
• Develop and implement advanced data extraction techniques across diverse data environments, including cloud-based and on-premises systems.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality control processes.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage and prioritize incoming data/reporting requests, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive oversight of operational data assets and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Educate and empower business partners by providing training and guidance on data literacy, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies.

Qualifying Experience :

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on business insight generation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in or adjacent to IT, with familiarity in standard processes and troubleshooting.
• Proven expertise in advanced data mining and extraction techniques, including predictive analytics, data mapping, and integration across multiple systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries across multiple tables and data sources.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis and business intelligence concepts, with a track record of converting data into strategic insights.
• Experience in building and managing databases, dashboards, and reporting tools that inform business decisions.
• Demonstrated success in applying analytics to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and other key business outcomes.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
