Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a data-driven Analyst to lead analytics, reporting, forecasting and BI initiatives that support underwriting performance and strategic growth.

You will partner with underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, operations and product teams to deliver actionable insights to leadership. The role requires advanced SQL and Excel skills, experience with dashboards and Power BI, and a BS in Finance or related field with 2–3 years in actuarial or insurance analytics or

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel.
• Experience building analytics tools, dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of analytical methods and technologies.
• Actuarial/Underwriting analytics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting analytics, modeling, and BI initiatives.
• Prepare portfolio and performance reports for senior leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Support renewals, new opportunities, and product launches with insights.
• Develop data architecture, BI reports and Power BI solutions.
• Create P&Ls and pro-formas for opportunities.
• Provide ad hoc analyses for leadership as needed.
