Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a analytics professional to lead underwriting data analysis, forecasting and BI initiatives that support profitability and growth across underwriting, actuarial, claims, and finance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, build dashboards in Power BI, and develop P&Ls and pro-formas to evaluate opportunities, with a base salary range of $140,000–$160,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in actuarial or insurance analytics or software development preferred.
• BS in Finance, Business, Insurance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting data analysis and maintain analytic models across prospective lines of business.
• Prepare regular portfolio and performance reports for senior leadership including profitability, revenue, loss drivers, budgets and forecasts.
• Assist CUO with fiscal planning, budgeting, premium projections, expense projections and scenario modeling.
• Support actuarial and underwriting teams with analytic insights for renewals, new business and portfolio growth.
• Drive development of data architecture, reports, dashboards, Power BI solutions and other BI products.
• Independently create P&Ls and pro-formas to assess opportunities and portfolio performance.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to underwriting, actuarial, claims, finance, operations and product teams.
