84 Lumber is hiring a Manager Trainee for a full-time, entry-level path to leadership in our stores. You will receive hands-on training across store operations with a clear path to management, relocation support, and performance-based progression within 6–12 months.

No prior experience required; come with dedication to learn and grow, and we will help you advance to general manager roles within 3–4 years.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Availability: Full-time schedule (48+ hours/week, overtime included). No experience required to begin your career.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Customer Service: Support customers and drive sales in a retail store environment.
• Store Operations and Inventory Management: Oversee material/supply chain flow, stock, and merchandising.
• Blueprint Reading and Estimation: Create material estimates for building projects.
• Forklift Operation and Certification: Safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Business Management: Payroll, invoicing, inventory, and financial analysis.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Training and skill refinement through a comprehensive program.
