84 Lumber is hiring for a Manager Trainee in a full-time, on-site role. No prior retail experience is required; training is provided to prepare you for leadership in a growing family-owned company.

You will learn sales, store operations, blueprint estimation, forklift safety, payroll, and inventory management through classroom and hands-on learning, with a clear path to promotion. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Full-time schedule (48+ hours/week, overtime included).
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and drive sales in a retail store environment.
• Oversee material and inventory flow, stock, and merchandising.
• Create material estimates for building projects.
• Operate forklift and obtain certification.
• Payroll, invoicing, inventory and POS systems.
• Read blueprints and create material lists.
