Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is seeking a Manager Trainee to join our local rental branch team. You will learn to run a successful rental location, deliver excellent customer experiences, and support daily branch operations. This hands‑on role offers structured training and real‑world experience with a path to promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months.

Wage starts at $18.50/hour plus incentives based on performance. Location: West Chester, PA.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands‑on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships, identifying customers needs, and applying effective sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
• Build the skills needed to grow into future leadership opportunities within Hertz.
