Hertz Local Edition in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Manager Trainee to join our rental branch team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn how to run a successful location while delivering a great customer experience and supporting daily operations.

This program prepares you for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months, with structured training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within Hertz. Wage starts at $19/hour plus performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, computer, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable with an interest in learning the business and growing into leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and applying effective sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
• Build the skills needed to grow into future leadership opportunities within Hertz.
