The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that provides work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Progression to management may occur within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the management team, live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance.
• Support the Store Manager in overall store operations, including management, supervision, and policy implementation.
• Manage financials, including analyzing and reconciling monthly P&L statements.
• Oversee employee staffing, training, and development.
• Manage inventory and lead customer service efforts.

MITs are responsible for completing training and demonstrating progression to remain in the pipeline for management openings. Promotion is not guaranteed and depends on performance and availability.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Previous automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not required.
