Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Manager, Trade Compliance to lead the trade compliance team within the MCC sector. You will enforce policies, coordinate with Licensing and Customs to ensure compliant exports/imports, and advise on USG regulations for international sales opportunities.

The role reports to the MCC Director of Trade Compliance. The position requires 5+ years ITAR/EAR experience, OFAC exposure, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years export/import trade compliance experience.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years experience; without degree 13 years required.
• Minimum 5 years experience with ITAR and EAR compliance and OFAC sanctions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team of sector trade compliance professionals.
• Review and approve DoS license applications for the business.
• Review ITAR exemptions and EAR exemptions.
• Coordinate product management and technical trade to provide necessary licensable details to USG.
• Provide Trade Compliance guidance to team and business units.
• Prepare export authorizations and maintain records; document budgets.
