Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Trade Compliance to drive classification determinations and export control compliance from a U.S. facility. The role features ITAR/EAR/J/C work and collaborating with engineering and supply chain on export-conscious designs.

The position requires working on-site in Arlington, VA; Salt Lake City, UT; Greenville, TX; Rockwall, TX; Rochester, NY; Clifton, NJ; or Melbourne, FL, with a 9/80 schedule. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required with several years of trade compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR jurisdictions and classification analysis.
• Ability to interface with personnel at all levels and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Experience with export controls processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform J/C determinations and HTS/Schedule B classifications under ITAR/EAR.
• Manage CJ/CCR/CCAT submissions to DDTC/BIS/DTSA.
• Support licensing applications and international shipments.
• Review supplier and OEM classifications and ensure compliance.
• Lead Trade Compliance Council meetings and maintain records.
