Faith Technologies, Inc. seeks a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to oversee governance, policy development and revenue accounting under the VP's direction. The role requires extensive U.S. GAAP expertise and strong cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Operations and leadership.

The ideal candidate will drive accounting policy, manage complex reporting cycles, and partner on strategic growth initiatives while guiding a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Public accounting and/or corporate accounting in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with ASC 606 experience.
• Experience supporting technical accounting and financial reporting functions.
• Experience with acquisitions, consolidation, investments, joint ventures.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

The Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager oversees technical accounting, financial reporting, and revenue accounting functions under the direction of the Vice President, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for building scalable accounting governance, developing policies, ensuring compliance under U.S. GAAP, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Active CPA required.

Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience. Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience within a large, complex organization. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with significant experience in revenue recognition and complex or judgmental accounting matters. Experience supporting technical accounting and financial reporting functions, including researching and documenting complex accounting matters. Experience developing accounting policies, financial reporting structures, supporting schedules, processes, controls, and governance. Experience supporting growing and evolving businesses, including establishing accounting frameworks for new business lines, revenue streams, contractual structures, and commercial models. Strong experience evaluating complex customer contracts and revenue arrangements under ASC 606. Experience with acquisitions, consolidation, investments, joint ventures, and other complex transactions preferred. Demonstrated ability to translate technical accounting requirements into practical, scalable business processes. Experience managing projects and developing accounting team members. Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across Finance, operations, leadership, external auditors, and other professional advisors.

Travel: 25%

Work Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Accounting & Policy Governance

Supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of company-wide U.S. GAAP accounting policies and formal governance processes. Researches, documents, and prepares technical accounting memoranda for complex, non-routine, or judgmental transactions. Monitors emerging accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606) and support implementation efforts across the organization. Provides technical accounting support for M&A, investments, joint ventures, and capital structure changes.

Revenue Accounting & Commercial Structuring

Executes and manages a scalable revenue recognition framework in compliance with ASC 606. Evaluates complex customer contracts, variable consideration, performance obligations, and contract modifications. Partners early with business lines to establish accounting models and operational processes for new products and revenue streams.

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statement preparation and reporting packages. Maintains supporting schedules, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and clear audit trails to back reporting packages. Prepares financial disclosures and reporting for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

Audit Management & Internal Governance

Serves as the primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting position papers and financial reporting schedules. Designs and enforces standardized internal controls and review procedures across accounting functions. Streamlines audit readiness by developing standardized documentation standards across divisions.

Team Leadership & Process Transformation

Manages and mentors technical accounting and financial reporting team members. Supports finance transformation projects focused on process automation, efficiency, and system scalability. Promotes technical accounting knowledge sharing and training across the broader finance organization. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
