Remuneration: Exempt

The Structured Finance team is responsible for raising external project financing, primarily tax equity financing, for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The Manager, Structured Finance will lead renewable energy financing transactions, working closely with investors, consultants, and internal teams.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage financial modeling for tax equity transactions and other financing arrangements.
2. Coordinate workstreams for successful transaction execution, including diligence management.
3. Support senior deal members in deal structuring and documentation negotiations.
4. Lead structuring of transaction economics, deal documentation negotiations, and diligence management.
5. Coach and develop junior team members.
6. Support other finance team functions, including quality control and development/origination teams.
7. Lead process improvement initiatives.
8. Assist with internal ad hoc projects.

Job Requirements and Experiences:

1. Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, tax, math, engineering, or related field.
2. MBA or similar postgraduate degree is a plus.
3. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience.
4. Knowledge of renewable energy project economics.
5. Experience modeling tax equity partnership flip structures or similar project finance models.
6. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills.
7. Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills.
8. Team player with flexibility to work independently and cross-functionally.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
11. Motivated self-starter with goal-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual salary in Illinois: $111,000 - $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
