Hightouch is seeking a Manager, Strategy Consultants (Agentic CDP) in San Francisco to lead a team bridging Hightouch with Fortune 500 customers. You will build, develop, and scale a world‑class group handling onboarding, success, and expansion across our agentic CDP.

As a hands‑on leader, you will handle escalations, partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering, and craft repeatable engagement playbooks to drive platform adoption and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering; feed roadmap with field signals.

Manager, Strategy Consultants (Agentic Customer Data Platform)

About The Role

In this role you will lead a team of Strategy Consultants who serve as the bridge between Hightouch and our largest Fortune 500 customers. You will be responsible for building, developing, and scaling a world‑class team that oversees the entire customer journey from kick‑off to onboarding to continued success and expansion on our agentic CDP.

This role will require you to combine people leadership with deep technical expertise to ensure our Enterprise customers maximize their value from our agentic Customer Data Platform. You'll be responsible for developing your team's technical capabilities, establishing best practices for customer engagement, and driving strategic initiatives that increase customer retention and adoption across our largest accounts.

As a hands-on leader, you will maintain involvement in complex technical escalations while empowering your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll collaborate closely with Sales leadership to develop strategies for increasing platform adoption within large organizations and work cross‑functionally to surface customer insights that drive product innovation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the team. Manage a group of senior Strategy Consultants. Set clear expectations, run a tight operating rhythm, and hold a high bar for quality work.

  • Hire exceptional people. Own sourcing, interviewing, and closing for the team. Build a repeatable hiring process that tests for strategic judgment, executive presence, and comfort with ambiguity.

  • Manage your portfolio. Know the status, risk, and next step of every active engagement. Escalate early and communicate crisply to executives.

  • Build the playbook. Turn what works into repeatable engagement models, pilot structures, demo narratives, and enablement, so the team scales without losing quality.

  • Set the bar for technical excellence. Maintain deep technical knowledge of Hightouch's platform and stay current with product developments

  • Partner cross‑functionally. Work closely with Sales leadership, Product, and Engineering. Bring field signal back to the roadmap and keep your team close to what's shipping.

What We're Looking For

Leadership Experience

  • 3-5 years of people management experience, preferably leading technical customer‑facing teams

  • Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing teams in fast‑growing environments

Technical Deployments Background

  • 8-10 years of experience in client‑facing and/or technology‑focused roles combining business acumen with technical expertise

  • Deep understanding of high stakes enterprise software implementations, APIs, databases, and data integration systems

  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience growing an adaptive team in fast‑paced evolving environment

  • Background in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), marketing technology, or data activation

  • Experience in B2B SaaS companies, particularly in customer success or solutions engineering roles

  • Track record of driving customer expansion and reducing churn in enterprise accounts

Compensation

The on-target range (70/30 split) for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 USD per year, which is location‑independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation.
