Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking a Manager to lead statewide career-connected learning initiatives, with emphasis on CTE, apprenticeship, and pathway alignment. The role requires strategic thinking, data analysis, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to drive improvements in Maryland’s public education and workforce systems.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited institution with relevant policy or program administration experience.
• Experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) or workforce development preferred.
• Ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations for statewide education and workforce initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority strategic initiatives advancing statewide career-connected learning with a focus on CTE and apprenticeship.
• Coordinate cross-agency and cross-sector collaboration among state agencies, LEAs, postsecondary institutions, and industry partners.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform policy and program decisions.
• Support planning and implementation of CTE Expert Review Team activities and statewide priorities.
