  • Experience with federally funded programs such as Perkins V, WIOA, or Registered Apprenticeship.
  • Six years of administrative or professional work experience (or equivalent education).

  • Apply systems thinking, project management, and data analysis to identify implementation challenges.
  • Engage stakeholders and coordinate cross-agency collaboration to strengthen CTE systems.

  • Coordinate transition of the CTE Expert Review Team.

Job description

This position leads high-priority strategic initiatives advancing statewide career-connected learning, particularly Career and Technical Education (CTE), apprenticeship programs, and career pathways alignment under Maryland's Blueprint for Maryland's Future. The Manager applies systems thinking, project management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to identify implementation challenges and develop recommendations strengthening Maryland's CTE systems. The role involves cross-agency collaboration, data oversight, technical assistance delivery, and coordination of the CTE Expert Review Team transition.

Key qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent professional experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) with direct responsibility for CTE program administration, Perkins V implementation, or career pathway deve
  • Two years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with written and verbal communication including drafting reports, policies, and technical materials
  • Experience implementing or supporting federally funded education or workforce programs such as Perkins V, WIOA, or Registered Apprenticeship
  • Six years of administrative staff or professional work (or equivalent education substitution)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college or university
