Job summary

City of Baltimore, MD seeks a Maryland Blueprint Career Counselor to deliver career advising through MOED and City Schools partnerships. You will conduct 1:1 and group advising to help middle and high school students explore careers and pursue postsecondary paths aligned with their interests.

The role works with a team of Career Coaches, school staff and external partners; requires a bachelor's degree and two years’ youth-facing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Two years of experience working with youth or young people.
• Understanding of youth development and career coaching frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide career advising for middle/high school students.
• Lead 1:1 and group advising sessions and career exploration activities.
• Coordinate with MOED, City Schools, and partners for work-based learning.
• Maintain records and prepare data for reports.
