GamblingCareers.com is seeking a Senior Manager of Retention to own and scale the Sportsbook retention efforts for Bally Bet and MONOPOLY Sportsbook in North America. You will drive engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value through data-driven strategies and cross-functional partnerships.

You will lead multi-channel campaigns, leverage AI to personalize journeys, and manage key partner relationships to optimize the tech stack and promo performance.

Qualifications

  • Sportsbook and iGaming knowledge including player lifecycle and competitive landscape.
  • Experience building retention and lifecycle strategies to convert first-time bettors into loyal players.
  • Data-driven approach: use KPIs, segmentation, and cohorts to drive decisions.
  • CRM and personalization: design journeys players want to engage with.
  • Balanced focus on engagement, margin, revenue, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sportsbook Retention function across Bally Bet and MONOPOLY Sportsbook.
  • Set retention strategy across North American markets using data and player insights.
  • Collaborate with Sports Ops, CRM, Creative, Brand, VIP, Insights and Product to craft player experiences.
  • Leverage AI and emerging tech to personalize journeys and sharpen promo performance.
  • Own the promotional calendar and major campaigns aligned with key sports moments.
  • Measure retention, engagement, revenue, and LTV with analytics partners.
  • Pioneer new retention tools with Product and MarTech to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Manage partner relationships (White Hat, Kambi) to maximize tech stack value.
  • Run multi-channel lifecycle campaigns with segmentation and personalized rewards.
  • Track trends and opportunities amid competition and regulation.
  • Build and coach a high-performing team with a culture of ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sportsbook Retention function: engagement, promotions, retention, comms, and product marketing across Bally Bet and MONOPOLY Sportsbook.
  • Set the retention strategy across every North American market, using data and player insight to drive engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sports Ops, CRM, Creative, Brand, VIP, Insights, and Product to build standout player experiences.
  • Harness AI and emerging tech to personalize journeys, automate workflows, and sharpen promo performance.
  • Own the promotional calendar and tentpole campaigns, timed to the biggest moments in sports.
  • Measure what matters, partner with Insightsto track retention, engagement, revenue, and LTV.
  • Pioneer new retention mechanics and tools with Product and MarTech to keep our player experience ahead of the pack.
  • Manage key partner relationships (White Hat, Kambi) to get more out of our tech stack.
  • Run multi-channel lifecycle campaigns with sharp segmentation, personalized rewards, and a relentless test-and-learn mindset.
  • Stay ahead of trends, competitors, tech, and regulation to spot the next big opportunity.
  • Build and coach a high-performing team, set the bar, mentor talent, and build a culture of ownership and improvement.
  • Champion best practices across Marketing and Ops to keep engagement strategy sharp company-wide.
