We are currently looking for a Manager, Software Engineering, Platform (Identity, Security, & Compliance) in United States.

We seek a hands-on and technically skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead the Identity, Security & Compliance (IDSC) platform team. This role is ideal for a leader who excels at software architecture and people management. You will drive the development of backend capabilities such as authentication, authorization, SSO, RBAC, and compliance standards, supporting secure adoption by enterprise customers. You will also manage and mentor a talented team, contribute to technical decisions and codebase, and collaborate with product and engineering leadership to build secure, scalable systems for thousands of users.

Accountabilities:

1. Lead and grow a high-performing team focused on identity, security, and compliance infrastructure.
2. Stay hands-on: review code, provide technical feedback, and contribute to major design decisions.
3. Own the delivery of secure and scalable features including MFA, SSO, RBAC, SCIM provisioning, and credential management.
4. Drive compliance initiatives for regulated markets (e.g., enterprise and government certifications).
5. Partner closely with product management to shape roadmaps aligned with customer needs.
6. Collaborate with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot, enhance, and future-proof services.
7. Champion team health, inclusive hiring, and career development.

Requirements:

1. 6+ years of experience as a backend software engineer (at least senior or staff level).
2. 4+ years in technical leadership roles, including 2+ years managing teams.
3. Deep experience in identity and access management, security, and compliance frameworks.
4. Strong architectural background in building distributed systems and scalable services.
5. Experience working directly with enterprise clients and managing high-stakes production environments.
6. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within scope.
7. Familiarity with site reliability best practices and incident management workflows.
8. Clear and effective communication skills in English.
9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
