Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Site Manager II in St. Petersburg, FL to lead the physician practice operations. You will oversee utilization management, access to services, and financial performance while ensuring HIPAA compliance and quality across the facility.

You will coordinate with clinical and administrative leaders, manage staff, and uphold BayCare’s standards of patient-centered care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Required High School or Equivalent for education.
• Candidate may hold a Bachelor's in Business or Healthcare.
• Leadership experience in health delivery or ambulatory clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee utilization management and daily operations of the physician practice.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and facility risk management.
• Manage maintenance and purchasing for the facility.
• Coordinate patient access, insurance verification, charge entry, collections and referrals.
• Liaise with Directors across clinical quality, compliance, and physician services.
• Maintain office hours and supervise staff to ensure service excellence.

Position Details

Location: St. Petersburg, FL - Allendale

Status: Full Time (Exempt)

Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary)

Days: Monday –Friday

The Site Manager II is responsible for:

In a complex practice, oversees the utilization management and daily business operations of the physician practice at the facility.

• Possesses a clear understanding of the financial, operational, administrative, and regulatory aspects of the facility.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and Risk Management at the facility level.
• Oversees maintenance and purchasing for specific facility.
• Responsible for patient access to services, insurance contract verification, utilization management, charge entry, collections, clinical support management, quality improvement, referral relations, patient satisfaction, personnel management, and problem solving.
• Acts as liaison to Director of Physician Services, Director of Clinical Quality and Compliance, and Director of CBO.
• Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, hours may vary

Education

Required High School or Equivalent

• Or Bachelor’s Healthcare

Experience

• 4 years leadership in a health delivery setting with High School Diploma or Equivalent; or
• 5 years physician or ambulatory clinic office with High School Diploma or equivalent; or
• 2 years leadership in a health delivery setting with Bachelor's Degree; or
• 3 years physician or ambulatory clinic office experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
