Spiko, a Paris-based fintech building on-chain risk infrastructure, seeks a Risk Manager to map, monitor, and mitigate risks across regulated activity. You will shape risk thinking, work with Compliance & Legal, Finance, Product and Tech, and engage external partners as the company expands in Europe.
Ideal candidates bring 4–8 years of experience in risk roles, a Master’s degree, and fluent English; familiarity with MiFID, AML/CFT, MiCA exposure, and digital assets is valued.
Founded in 2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien , Spiko gives SMEs, non-profits, financial advisers and fintechs access to institutional-grade cash management via app or API. We are building the full infrastructure: issuing, operating, and distributing the products ourselves.
Our ambition: become the world's leading treasury management infrastructure in a market worth trillions.
We are backed by Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise.
Spiko operates at the frontier of financial infrastructure, building products that don't have established playbooks. Every major choice we make needs to be assessed against its real risk implications. As Spiko scales, both in AuM and in the complexity of our financial infrastructure, we're building out a dedicated risk function to make sure we make the right choices as we grow. You'll be the first Manager, responsible for mapping, monitoring, and mitigating the risks across our regulated activity. This is a role at the intersection of traditional asset management risk and the risks specific to on-chain infrastructure. Because so much of what we build is genuinely new, you'll often be the one shaping how we think about risk in the first place, not just applying an existing framework. You'll work closely with Compliance & Legal, Finance, Product and Tech, as well as external partners.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll have real autonomy in shaping Spiko's risk framework as the company expands across Europe.
what matters most is analytical rigor, the ability to structure new and complex topics, and a builder mindset in a regulated, fast-moving fintech environment.
