Job summary

Spiko, a Paris-based fintech building on-chain risk infrastructure, seeks a Risk Manager to map, monitor, and mitigate risks across regulated activity. You will shape risk thinking, work with Compliance & Legal, Finance, Product and Tech, and engage external partners as the company expands in Europe.

Ideal candidates bring 4–8 years of experience in risk roles, a Master’s degree, and fluent English; familiarity with MiFID, AML/CFT, MiCA exposure, and digital assets is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or business from a leading school.
• fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of French and European regulatory frameworks (MiFID).
• Experience across risk areas: compliance (AML/CFT, MiFID), financial (counterparty, liquidity, market, FX), and cyber.
• Notable achievement: built a risk framework, reduced incidents, or scaled controls.

Responsibilities

• Map and monitor risk across market, counterparty, operational, liquidity, compliance and technology.
• Strengthen governance and design the internal control framework.
• Contribute to risk reviews of new products and activity (including UK FCA expansion).
• Train and raise awareness on risk topics with teams.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Product and Tech; coordinate with external partners.
