Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Certified Coding credentials such as CCS, CPC, or RHIA/RHIT required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Revenue Integrity functions, including charge capture, charge reconciliation, chargemaster maintenance, denial prevention and resolution, Revenue Guardian activities, and Epic charging workflows.
• Oversee Revenue Integrity staff and workflows to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely charge generation, billing readiness, reimbursement optimization, and revenue protection.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Patient Financial Services, Coding, Compliance, Finance, Managed Care, Information Services, and department leaders to implement regulatory and operational changes, resolve charging issues, and minimize revenue leakage.

Education

Position Summary

The Manager, Revenue Integrity is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of Revenue Integrity functions, including charge capture, charge reconciliation, chargemaster maintenance, charging compliance, denial prevention and resolution, Revenue Guardian activities, and Epic charging workflows. This position oversees Revenue Integrity staff and operational workflows to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely charge generation, billing readiness, reimbursement optimization, and revenue protection across the health system.

The Manager partners closely with Clinical Operations, Patient Financial Services, Coding, Compliance, Finance, Managed Care, Information Services, and department leaders to implement operational and regulatory changes, resolve charging issues, minimize revenue leakage, and support organizational revenue cycle performance.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree may be desirable.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Certified Coding credentials such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Registered Health Information Administrator/Registered Health Information Technician (RHIA/RHIT) required.
