Schedule Details/Additional Information:

This position is fully remote, working full-time during daytime hours. The role will be responsible for leading the NC/GA Division training teams but the person holding the role will work remote so is approved to live outside NC/GA division. However, there is the expectation that they are willing to travel to the NC/GA area on occasion and possibly travel for conferences as well.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Oversees hospital, clinic, business office and other in-scope site-based training needs related to revenue cycle functional areas. Coordinates training and training support activities across locations to ensure standardization and sharing of best practices.
  • Assesses organizational needs to drive training initiatives. Partners with Revenue Cycle Business Optimization teams and other departmental stakeholders to design training needed to support deficiencies or gaps identified through their work.
  • Develops the framework and schedules for training events. Provides input to Revenue Cycle Instructional Design on course content and curriculum.
  • In conjunction with Revenue Cycle Instructional Design, conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. Ensures quality review measurements are in place.
  • Represents Revenue Cycle Training when ad hoc needs or special projects arise, including system upgrades, implementations, affiliations, partnerships, and new scopes of revenue cycle work.
  • Manages and promotes implementation of standard training support processes and programs (remote and in-person).
  • Identifies and implements process improvements related to training to improve training and training support programs.
  • Develops and maintains training policies and procedures to ensure synchronization regulatory requirements and organizational compliance policies. Develops and delivers department on-boarding processes.
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
  • None Required.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.

Experience Required:
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in instructional design, adult education and training program presentation. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in the management of staff, budgets, and training functions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Expertise in developing and executing education programs that ensure translation of teaching into action and promote learner involvement. Demonstrated innovative coaching skills when managing education/development issues.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to deal and work effectively with multiple departments and in matrix organizational structures. Proven ability to influence others not directly reporting to them. Strong negotiating skills. Demonstrated analytical ability and presentation skills.
  • Ability to guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering high quality services.
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic and tactical plans to meet business objectives in a large healthcare system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
  • Demonstrated skills in analysis necessary to examine Revenue Cycle training activities and detect/resolve any related issues.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to sit the majority of the workday.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 10 lbs.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Pay Range

$50.05 - $75.10
