Job summary

Crew Carwash is seeking a Manager, Retail Technology Platforms to own the strategy, administration, and performance of customer-facing retail tech platforms, including POS, payments, promotions, subscriptions, and pricebook systems across locations.

This on-site role leads POS modernization, collaborating across IT, Operations, Marketing and Finance with vendors to deliver fast, scalable, secure technology that enhances the customer experience.

The Manager, Retail Technology Platforms own the strategy, administration, optimization, and business performance of Crew Carwash’s customer-facing retail technology platforms including POS, payments, promotions, subscriptions, and pricebook systems.

This role will lead Crew’s POS modernization effort, including the evaluation and migration off a legacy point of sale to a next-generation platform, and serve as the primary bridge between IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and vendor partners to deliver fast, scalable, secure, and customer-friendly technology across all locations. This role is on-site 5 days/week at our support center in Indianapolis/Fishers.

Crew’s performance measurements:

• POS platform uptime and reliability
• Promotion and pricing accuracy across all locations
• Speed to market for new campaigns and pricing changes
• Reduced transaction friction and faster issue resolution
• On-time, on-budget delivery of the POS migration roadmap
• Data feed accuracy and field/store satisfaction

Crew’s qualifications:

• Experience owning or administering POS or retail/hospitality transaction systems
• Must have working knowledge of SQL and underlying database structure
• Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be willing to work in a team environment
• Vendor management experience, including platform evaluations and migrations
• Strong understanding of pricing and promotions logic
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Data-minded, with a track record of using metrics to drive improvement
• Demonstrated operational urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
