Job description

What You’ll Be Serving Up:

Develop breakthrough products and support initiatives that are operationally ready for the entire KFC System. Support cross-functional project teams from an operational perspective in developing programs and processes that advance the KFC business, while maintaining operational simplicity for restaurant implementation. Focus on ensuring products and procedures are restaurant-ready and executable at the restaurant level.

Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:

Support key restaurant strategy projects, including:

  • All phases of the restaurant readiness process
  • Serving as a conduit to the Operations Subcommittee regarding procedure changes and testing
  • Field-level communication and execution of national initiatives
  • Leading with creative thinking and problem solving
  • Collaborating with field leadership and the Operations Subcommittee on national initiatives
  • Leading National High Touch Training Initiatives
  • Presenting operational project updates to the Leadership Team
  • Leading National Webinars for Field/Franchisees
  • Challenging the status quo through disruptive thinking
  • Acting as gatekeeper for Restaurant Operational Guardrails
  • Field validation and follow-up for key initiatives (approximately 25% travel required)

What You Bring to the Table:

  • BS/BA degree preferred but not required
  • 3 to 5 years of leadership experience beyond restaurant level or multi-unit retail leadership preferred
  • Understanding of restaurant P&L statements and reports supporting financial success
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong presentation and training delivery skills
  • Proven relationship-building skills across functions and with franchisees
  • Ability to manage projects requiring multiple expertise areas, with innovation and inspiration
  • Outstanding coaching and counseling skills with solid follow-up
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Mentoring skills for cross-functional team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to influence at all levels, including franchise owners
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
