Job Title: Manager, Research & Insights

Job Summary:

Our Automotive client is seeking an experienced and strategic research & insights manager with 5-7 years of experience to manage all aspects of primary and syndicated research. This role is responsible for leading the execution of research projects. As such, duties will include developing research strategies and methodologies, managing research projects from initiation to completion, analyzing data, and presenting research findings. They also ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in the field of consumer insights. In this role, you will champion a customer-first mindset in developing an actionable knowledge base relating to consumer need states in the automotive field. If you are passionate about observing, measuring and utilizing customer behavior data to drive business decisions this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with team colleagues to align insight needs to business outcomes
• Able to work in a time pressured environment
• Able to drive projects on their own confidently
• Has experience of working in research
• Conceptualize research designs to address key business questions by implementing qualitative and quantitative research approaches to drive actionable insights and client implications
• Oversee the logistics and coordination of primary research, providing direction throughout the life cycle of a project (programming/scripting, data collection/fieldwork, data processing)
• Leverage story-telling skills (integrating multiple data sources including qual/quant results, secondary data sources, trend information and data analytics) to prepare highly polished presentations that deliver insightful, strategic, and actionable insights
• Be data-agile across both first-party data and syndicated data
• Aggressively source insights from known and prospective data sources
• Create reports that clearly communicate the state of the market and the competitive environment for company properties
• Clearly communicate findings to colleagues, senior management, clients, and financial institutions

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in a related field
• Experience working closely with marketing, operations and finance
• Must have passion/interest in consumer behaviors, particularly in automotive care and maintenance
• Must possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Must be able to clearly articulate complex content to diverse stakeholders
