$106,352.00/yr - $180,798.00/yr

Job Description

As the Manager - Reporting and Analytics, you will be responsible for collaborating with the broader analytics and sales teams to gather requirements, develop metrics, standardize reports, provide analytics and reporting to customers, supply data-driven insights to our sales and leadership teams. You will manage a team of developers and analysts to provide world class dashboards and reporting. You will work cross functionally with the Project Manager and UX Designer to focus on timely delivery of reporting and a well designed user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather business reporting and analytics requirements, within the context of Power BI and transform raw claims data into desired metrics and insights.
  • Develop and maintain standard visual reports for KPIs including trends over time, providing stakeholders with a clear, at-a-glance understanding of operational performance.
  • Tailor visualizations to different stakeholder needs, ensuring executives, sales teams, and analysts have the right level of detail to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and reporting requirements, providing regular updates on refreshes and insights.
  • Utilize Power BI to design and create analytics dashboards and reporting.
  • Work cross functionally with IT to validate the accuracy and quality of the data represented within analytics and reporting outputs.
  • Train end users on newly deployed dashboards.
  • Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of deployed dashboards.
  • Identify and track issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems, and process errors.
  • Maintain documentation of existing reports and dashboards (KPI definitions, data sources, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree – Business or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience working in a reporting and analytics environment
  • 4+ years developing dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
  • Experience leading or managing a team of developers and data analysts
  • Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models
  • Strong SQL query skills to get the best results
  • Proven hands-on knowledge of turning data into relevant reports and visualizations
  • Experience developing and maintaining data models to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience
  • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of the development life cycle

Compensation Details: $106,352 - $180,798 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. In addition, Wesco offers a full range of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.
