Position Overview
Amtech is seeking a highly organized, process-oriented, and customer-focused Renewal Manager to build and lead the company's renewal operations function. This newly created role is responsible for establishing scalable renewal processes, managing subscription and maintenance renewals, generating quotes, and partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations teams to maximize customer retention and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Renewal Operations & Process Development
- Design, document, and implement a company-wide renewal management process
- Establish renewal timelines, workflows, SLAs, and approval processes
- Build scalable renewal playbooks and operational procedures
- Identify process gaps and recommend automation opportunities
- Develop renewal governance standards and reporting metrics
Renewal Management
- Own the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for software subscriptions, maintenance agreements, and services contracts
- Proactively manage upcoming renewals to ensure timely customer engagement
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to validate pricing, terms, and contract details
- Track renewal opportunities, risks, and forecast accuracy
- Support upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with account teams
Quote Generation & Contract Support
- Generate accurate renewal quotes and pricing documentation
- Maintain quote templates, pricing structures, and approval workflows
- Ensure contracts and renewals align with company policies and customer agreements
- Coordinate contract revisions and approvals as neededMaintain clean and accurate customer, contract, and renewal data
Systems & Reporting
- Manage renewal tracking and reporting within Salesforce and related business systems
- Build dashboards and reports for renewal forecasting, retention, and pipeline visibility
- Improve data quality and operational reporting accuracy
- Support process automation initiatives across CRM systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales teams to support account renewal strategy
- Collaborate with Customer Success to improve retention outcomes
- Work closely with Finance on invoicing, pricing, and revenue alignment
- Coordinate with Legal and Operations on contract requirements and compliance
- Serve as a trusted operational resource for renewal-related inquiries
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of experience in Renewals, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Customer Success Operations, or Quote-to-Cash environments
- Experience managing software, SaaS, subscription, or maintenance renewals
- Strong experience with quote generation and contract administration
- Salesforce CRM experience required
- Experience with CPQ systems preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and process discipline
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or technology environments preferred
- Experience building or scaling renewal processes from the ground up preferred
- Experience supporting global or multi-region renewal operations preferred
- Experience managing renewals and contract transitions across perpetual licensing, hosted solutions, and SaaS subscription models, including conversion strategies from legacy perpetual customers to recurring revenue agreements preferred

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $102,000-$137,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
