Job summary

MISO in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking a Manager of Reliability Coordination to lead a control room team ensuring the electric grid serves 45 million people across 15 states. You will drive real-time decisions, safeguard operations, and influence the design of our reliability programs.

In this role you will collaborate with R&D and customers, lead workforce development initiatives, and shepherd the operating plan to deliver measurable improvements within the first year.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or 12 years of equivalent technical experience).
• 8+ years of relevant technical experience.
• ISO/RTO or energy industry expertise in transmission operations, relay system protection, or substation design/maintenance.
• People management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a control room team that responds to real-time grid operations to keep the system safe and secure.
• Collaborate with R&D and customers to influence policy and drive improvements as renewables expand.
• Develop training and workforce development initiatives with Human Resources and drive the operating plan.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
