Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) in Carmel, IN is seeking a Day Ahead Operator to drive the Day Ahead market process from start to finish. You will own case creation, manage constraints, mitigate congestion, and obtain market approval each cycle.

With at least four years in electric utilities or an RTO, plus a NERC/RC certification, you’ll join a fast-paced team focused on reliability and efficiency without overnight shifts.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of four years of electric utility industry or RTO experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR eight years of equivalent work experience
  • NERC/RC certification

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $130,000.00 — $140,000.00 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
