Job summary

Mercy seeks a Manager-Reimbursement to maximize governmental reimbursement through supervision of Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and audit support. This REMOTE role reports to the Director, Reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will coordinate monthly calculations of revenue deductions and A/R reserves and lead several reimbursement projects. Requirements include a BS in business, accounting, or finance and 5 years’ experience in a healthcare setting with staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in business, accounting, or finance required.
• No licensure required.
• 5 years of progressive development within a healthcare environment including staff management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in business, accounting, or finance.
• Licensure: None.
• Experience: 5 years of progressive development within a healthcare environment including experience managing staff.

Other:

• Effective communication skills with peers and upper management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Understanding of the net revenue month-end closing process.
