Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a property administrator to oversee the overall administration of the casino property and related departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food/slot operations.

The role requires experience in gaming operations, strong communication, and the ability to manage and improve performance standards across departments. Candidates should be prepared to coordinate promotions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a closely related position preferred.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of gaming business operations (casino, food & beverage, hotel, finance, marketing, HR, etc.).
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall administration of the property and related departments (casino housekeeping, facility maintenance, food and slot operations).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and codes.
  • Coordinate and supervise department staff to maximize room efficiency and customer service.
  • Coordinate promotions and special events.
  • Establish and administer performance and service standards.
  • Analyze food and slot revenues and expenses to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, customers, and vendors.

Job Description

  • Analyzes food and slot revenues and expenses and other statistical data used to increase efficiency and resolve problems.
  • Communicates effectively, in writing and verbally, with staff, management, customers and vendors.
