Job summary

Modernizing Medicine, Inc. (ModMed) seeks a Manager of Project Management to lead a PM team responsible for implementing ModMed's product suite. You will manage daily operations, drive KPIs, handle escalations, and contribute to process improvements while collaborating across CS and other departments.

You will oversee project portfolios, ensure timely delivery, and coach team members. Healthcare experience is preferred as you support a mission to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare.
• 1–3 years leading a team of project managers.
• 3–5 years of experience in Project Management or related fields.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Healthcare background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of their Project Management team (30%): staff 1:1s, reviews, escalation, talent development, performance reviews, liaison with department leaders.
• Departmental Initiatives & Process Improvement (30%): participate in KPI pursuit, process improvements, scalable implementation methodologies.
• Status Reporting & Stakeholder Readouts (15%): regular portfolio and business reviews for stakeholders and leadership.
• Quality Standards & CSAT Management (15%): ensure quality standards, CSAT data-driven decisions, address detractors.
• Capacity & Budget Collaboration (10%): collaborate to manage capacity against forecast and budget.

Job Description Summary:

ModMed is hiring a Manager, Project Management, to lead a team of Project Managers overseeing the implementation of ModMed's suite of products. This role manages regular operations, ensures achievement of KPIs and success metrics, fields escalations, contributes to process improvements, collaborates cross-functionally in and out of CS, and more.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of their Project Management team (30%): This includes staff 1:1s, internal and external reviews of project portfolios, escalation management, talent development, performance reviews, merit conversations, liasoning with other ModMed department leaders, and any other functions necessary to manage the team’s activities.
• Departmental Initiatives & Process Improvement (30%): Participate as part of the overall Project Management team overseeing process improvements, the pursuit of KPIs like CSAT or time to activation, development of new implementation methodologies to achieve scale, and support of any other departmental initiatives as necessary.
• Status Reporting & Stakeholder Readouts (15%): Regular readouts on team/vertical/segment status, including portfolio reviews for ModMed stakeholders, overall business reviews for leadership, or review of achievements/developments for fellow Managers of Project Management.
• Quality Standards & CSAT Management (15%): Ensure quality standards are upheld by regularly reviewing Project Manager performance, leveraging CSAT data to inform decision making or coaching, following up with and resolving issues from CSAT detractors, and calling attention to pervasive issues that can be solved.
• Capacity & Budget Collaboration (10%): Collaborate with Senior Manager, Director, or VP resources to ensure capacity is managed appropriately against forecast and budget.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred: Field of Study: Business, Healthcare.
• 1-3 years leading a team of project managers.
• Related Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Project Management or similar/related fields.
• Certification: PMP strongly preferred.
• Healthcare background preferred.
