The Facilities Services organization is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented program manager to lead financial oversight, business performance analysis, and cross-functional accountability for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) and Capital Spend. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, driving spend optimization, and delivering actionable insights that support the organization's financial objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with operational understanding, using data-driven insights to influence decision-making, improve business processes, and holding stakeholders accountable for delivering program outcomes that reduce costs while maintaining operational excellence across North American facilities services organization.

As a manager, program management – Facilities Performance, you will…

• Partner closely with Finance to support the monthly close process for Facilities Services expenditures.
• Develop and maintain accurate accounting and reporting of Repair & Maintenance (R&M) and Capital Spend to create executive-level insights related to performance.
• Investigate variances, analyze spending trends to identify key cost drivers, emerging risks, and optimization opportunities, creating standardized processes and reporting frameworks to improve forecasting accuracy and support executive decision making.
• Deliver regular performance reviews to Facilities Services leadership and cross-functional partners, driving adoption of business processes to improve financial and operational performance.
• Own and execute the organization's owner consignment inventory, parts reconciliation processes, and SOC compliance controls.
• Partner with Program Management, Supplier Management, Regional Facilities Teams, Finance, and other stakeholders to investigate spend drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish governance mechanisms that ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution, facilitating root cause analysis to understand financial performance challenges.

We’d love to hear from people with:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with the application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex large-scale business or information technology projects
• Minimum of 8 years of experience building and mentoring teams
• Minimum of 6 years of experience mentoring other project managers in program and project management
• Minimum of 8 years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial forecasting, in-depth analytics, business case development and P&L management
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing others fostering a positive work environment
• Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new and existing reporting and analytics strategies
• Strong experience in financial controls and advanced reporting, with the analytical curiosity to investigate financial and operational anomalies
• Understanding of facilities operations and expertise in program value realization to drive financial results is preferred
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Facilities to drive accountability, optimize costs, and support executive decision-making
• Experience using analytical and project management tools, including SQL, Tableau, Excel, Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence, is required

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
