Manager level role responsible for leading Men's Product and Fragrance Development function, driving category strategy, innovation, and commercialization for Bath & Body Works! This role serves as the primary strategic partner to Merchandising, owning fragrance house relationships, and leads a team responsible for delivering consumer-focused product and fragrance innovation that supports brand and business growth.
Product & Fragrance Development Strategy
Lead the strategy for men's category portfolio focusing on product development and fragrance innovation.
Translate category and merchant strategies into groundbreaking pipelines for product creation and scent innovation.
Own category innovation planning, prioritization, and execution from concept through commercialization.
Drive key development decisions and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Fragrance House & External Partner Leadership
Own strategic relationships with fragrance houses and key external partners.
Lead innovation sessions, business reviews, and fragrance development priorities.
Influence fragrance pipelines to ensure alignment with product and organizational objectives.
Drive accountability, quality, and speed-to-market with external partners.
Merchant and Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the primary Product Development partner to the Merchant team.
Influence category direction through consumer, trend, and market insights.
Lead alignment across Merchandising, R&D, Packaging, Sourcing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Present recommendations and development strategies to leadership.
Category & Consumer Expertise
Maintain deep knowledge of Men's fragrance, personal care, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
Identify white-space opportunities and emerging trends that support category growth.
Leverage consumer and business insights to drive innovation and portfolio evolution.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Developers.
Provide performance management, career development, and succession planning support.
Champion collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of talent.
8+ years of experience in product and fragrance development, including category strategy and external partner management.
Experience leading sophisticated product development initiatives and cross-functional teams.
Experience leading external fragrance house and internal partner relationships.
Strong communication, influencing skills, and critical thinking ability.
Experience leading and developing a team, encouraging strong performance and morale.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, Chemistry, Consumer Products, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
