Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organization.
  • Able to manage time effectively and maintain focus in a dynamic environment; demonstrates a sense of urgency and adaptability to change.
  • Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and communicate challenges and risks in formula stability, compatibility, and microbiology for low complexity projects, troubleshoot issues, map out action plans for resolution together with manager support, and mobilize appropriate teams needed to achieve results.
  • Complete all relevant commercialization milestones on time and accurately, report development challenges that may jeopardize timelines, and provide risk assessments and status updates to internal teams and managers.
  • Maintain project trackers to ensure they are well-organized, accurate, and current to enable visibility, efficiencies, and historical findings.
  • Collaborate with Product Fragrance Development, Formula Data Integrity, Regulatory, Safety, Engineering, Operations, and Packaging partners to drive project success.
  • Lead deliverables from key Fragrance Houses and Contract Manufacturers.
  • Support supply chain and cost savings activities by approving alternate raw materials based on specific chemistries and functions.
  • Actively participate in weekly commercialization, cross-functional, and internal team meetings. Provide project updates, discuss findings, and share ideas.
  • Build and maintain relationships within R&D and across cross-functional teams through onboarding activities, regular touchpoints, and alignment meetings.

Bath & Body Works is seeking a dedicated and determined R&D Technical Project Manager I to join our dynamic and evolving Research and Development team! We are an innovative team of technical project managers who are agile, passionate, and curious to innovate and implement brand relevant personal care & beauty products. The ideal candidate brings strong scientific knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate, solve problems, and get results in a dynamic environment.
