Overview

Sarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of healthcare products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within EMS. The company operates through several market-leading companies including Tri-anim Health Services, Bound Tree Medical, Cardio Partners, and Digitech.

Role: Process Excellence Manager

This role leads the development and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies across Sarnova’s Distribution Network, driving continuous improvement and innovation. It combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, managing a team focused on enhancing processes, metrics, technology, and overall operational performance. The manager collaborates with cross-functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives aligned with the organization’s growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

Organizational Impact: As the Process Excellence Manager, you will lead transformative initiatives to ensure efficient, scalable, and customer-centric distribution operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance quality, reliability, and delivery of products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create and own the identification, development, and execution of high-impact operational efficiency programs, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  2. Evaluate current business processes to identify opportunities for value creation, efficiency, and waste reduction, aligning initiatives with strategic goals.
  3. Establish and monitor KPIs and project metrics to measure success and maintain high-performance standards.
  4. Partner with operational leaders, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to align improvement efforts with business objectives.
  5. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of continuous improvement professionals, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  6. Collaborate with recruitment to identify, interview, and select top talent.
  7. Maintain and update SOPs for consistency and adherence to best practices; audit processes to ensure compliance.
  8. Train associates on new or revised processes.
  9. Drive adoption of standardized tools and processes through effective change management.
  10. Use data analytics to identify trends, measure progress, and provide insights to leadership.
  11. Conduct audits to sustain continuous improvement efforts and meet objectives.
  12. Collaborate on M&A projects to ensure seamless operational integration.
  13. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
  14. Implement processes to enhance productivity and regulatory compliance.
  15. Manage resources efficiently to meet quality standards.
  16. Additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in operational excellence or process improvement, with 2+ years in management.
  • Minimum of 2 years utilizing Lean Six Sigma; certification preferred.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain in distribution.
  • Desirable: familiarity with medical devices, supplies, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven project management skills across project lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to monitor operational metrics.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams.
  • Proactive, resourceful, goal-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Adaptability and multitasking ability.
  • Strong ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
