Job summary

Oakridge Staffing is seeking a Manager of Power Platform Automation in Shelton, CT to lead continuous improvement initiatives across the company. This onsite role (4 days/week) reports to leadership and oversees two direct reports, driving operational excellence and governance through automation and digital enablement.

The role emphasizes building business cases, roadmaps, and executive-level communications while partnering with IT and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
• 3+ years of experience leading Application / Power Platform Development teams, business transformation, process improvement, or technology-enabled improvement initiatives.
• 2+ years managing cross-functional projects and partnering with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to build alignment and influence to drive sustainable change across diverse teams and functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce clear documentation, executive presentations, project updates, and training materials for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional operational excellence initiatives by partnering with business teams, stakeholders, and IT to assess current processes, identify gaps, and define improvement opportunities that increase productivity, reduce cost, improve quality, and deliver measurable KPIs.
• Develop business cases, project charters, roadmaps, process maps, requirements documentation, dashboards, training materials, and executive-level presentations to support operational transformation and continuous improvement programs.
• Identify, prioritize, and sponsor opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and digitize business processes using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, workflow automation, reporting tools, and other approved solutions.
• Lead technical and operational feasibility assessments with IT developers, solution owners, and business stakeholders to determine the right approach for each improvement opportunity.
