Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for Post Partum to lead daily nursing operations, staffing, and clinical quality. The Manager will ensure patient-centered care and drive positive outcomes for obstetric patients.

The role emphasizes staffing oversight, policy adherence, and staff accountability, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and safety. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or with an active compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS not stated but often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care according to policies and drive quality outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• Associate's Degree or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
