Job Summary And Qualifications

The RN Manager CVICU ensures high quality, patient‑centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; Level entry training may be a Diploma Program in Nursing, an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required (if compact licensure must change primary state of residence within 90 days).
• American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider required; ACLS‑Advanced Cardiac Life Support within first 6 months of employment.

Successful completion of an EKG recognition and treatment certification within 6 months of entering this position.

Successful completion of TNNC (Trauma Nurse Core Courses) or TCAR within 12 months of entering this position.
