Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Florida seeks a Manager of Emergency Services to oversee daily patient care, manage the emergency department team, and collaborate with physicians and clinicians. The role emphasizes leadership in patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.

You will lead staffing, drive service excellence, and engage in community education initiatives while ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 60 days of employment start date.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRNs are eligible or RN considered for the role.
• PALS certification required within 60 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient care in the department.
• Manage all department staff and coordinate with medical staff.
• Serve as a resource to the department and participate in community education.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for day to day provision of care rendered to patients in the department, assists with oversight of daily operations, manages all staff members in the department and works closely with medical staff members. Maintains an active role in community education and serves as a resource to the Department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care.
