Job summary

Huron is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer in the United States to drive architecture, deployment, and operation of AI, Microsoft Fabric, and workflow platforms across 50+ clients.

The role combines platform engineering, client deployment, and AI workflow development, requiring hands-on DevOps, cloud data, and CRM tooling expertise. You will mentor teams and shape internal tooling standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud operations, or technical systems role.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps administration (pipeline config, governance, multi-project).
• Working knowledge of Salesforce administration or development coordination.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or related cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks).
• Experience designing or supporting AI/LLM solutions (prompt engineering, automation, Claude/OpenAI integrations).
• Strong written and verbal communication translating technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple priorities across cross-functional internal and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, configuration, standardization, and admin of internal Azure DevOps environments for multiple client engagements.
• Coordinate requirements, backlog, sprint input, UAT, and deployment with Salesforce team for Managed Services.
• Lead design, development, and maintenance of internal AI-powered solutions and Claude AI projects.
• Coordinate client onboarding and Microsoft Fabric deployments with client IT/data teams.
• Collaborate with platform, analytics, and reporting teams to guide architecture and review Power BI data models.
• Support expansion of Managed Services into Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
• Create and maintain technical docs, runbooks, and governance materials for scalability and resilience.
• Participate in Tech Committee, mentor team members on platform engineering practices.
