Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an AI Infrastructure Architect - Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of a governed AI operations platform. You will model platform patterns for identity, networking, and code-driven deployments, guiding engineers and coordinating with security, governance and observability teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on building, architecture governance, and collaboration with the AI Operations team under CIO. Flexible remote work in the US is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and building production cloud platforms, AI platforms, or distributed systems.
• 4+ years with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on coding experience in at least one modern programming language.
• Ability to translate governance, risk and business requirements into pragmatic engineering patterns.
• Experience with APIs, secure deployment patterns, event-driven systems, or platform automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands-on technical lead for AI reference architecture and platform patterns.
• Define and build approved patterns for cloud infrastructure, identity, networking, and deployment.
• Design core control-plane patterns for registration, policy enforcement, and usage tracking.
• Build infrastructure-as-code templates, automation, sandbox patterns, and monitoring tooling.
• Mentor engineers, review design and code, and ensure security and auditability.
• Collaborate with security, governance, knowledge, and observability teams to enable automation and evidence gathering.
