Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Manager of Facility Operations to lead the plant operations and maintenance teams, plan, organize, supervise, coordinate and control activities to keep HVAC, electrical systems, utilities and grounds safe and operative.

The role emphasizes labor/material controls, safety training for maintenance staff, and delivering high-quality services that meet or exceed patient and staff expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Degree is required.
• Driver's License is required.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance management experience.
• Experience planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling plant operations and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control plant operations and maintenance functions to keep facilities safe and operative.
• Maintain Life Safety and Environment of Care; ensure safe working conditions and quality customer service.

The Manager of Facility Operations performs diverse duties including managing Life Safety and Environment of Care. Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary. The leader is accountable for maintaining an effective department, for administering labor and material controls, for training of maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices

• The Manager of Facility Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, supervision, coordination, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions.
• The activities are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds in an operative and safe working condition.
• Coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes.
• Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as the technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team.
• Responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Must have 4 yrs of maintenance management experience

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $95,680.00 - $152,089.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
