Job summary

Ascension Medical Group in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, seeks an Operations Manager for Primary Care. This full-time role oversees daily practice operations, patient flow, scheduling, payroll and recruitment, while guiding staff performance and relations.

As the liaison between physicians, office staff, and external departments, you will support growth strategies, budgeting, and financial goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth vendor relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency with 2 years leadership experience or 4 years job-specific experience with 1 year leadership.
• Experience in managing daily practice operations and staff.
• Experience coordinating patient flow and recruitment.

• Department: Primary Care

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Operations & Staffing: Oversees daily practice operations, patient flow, scheduling, payroll, and recruitment, while managing staff performance and relations.

• Liaison & Patient Care: Coordinates patient care and serves as the primary liaison between physicians, office staff, and external clinical or administrative departments.

• Strategic & Financial Planning: Partners with physician leadership to develop growth strategies, manage budgets, monitor billing and collections, and support financial goals.

• Compliance & Administration: Monitors regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations, and may assist with physician compensation models.s as a liaison between practice physicians and office employees, and between the practice and other clinical and administrative areas.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• None Required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
