Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Retail, Mail or Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.

Overview

The Manager, Clinical Operations will be responsible for services, including but not limited to processing prescriptions for all Co Assist Programs to patients. The Manager, Clinical Operations will assist in overseeing daily operations of the pharmacy including overseeing the pharmacist daily activities. The Manager, Clinical Operations will assist in all pharmacy services including quality assurance and clinical monitoring activities. The Manager, Clinical Operations will practice under the rules and regulations of the Florida State Board of Pharmacy and Federal Pharmacy law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing of Products
• Receive physician prescription orders and evaluate for clinical appropriateness and validity according to Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
• Oversee Pharmacists daily activities
• Communicate with physicians’ offices, patients, and call center staff.
• Provide patient counseling, education and monitoring for Rx product and provide quality patient care.
• Special projects as business needs require.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by director of pharmacy
• Obtain and maintain pharmacy accreditation.
• Create and maintain pharmacy policy, procedures, work instruction and reference documents.
• Responsible for oversight of clinical decision‑making aspects of the program.
• Ensures that qualified clinicians are accountable to the organization for decisions affecting consumers.
• Provides guidance for clinical operational aspects of the program.
• Assists in client meetings to discuss operations and reporting
• Identify and report adverse events, pursuant to program requirements
• Identify, document, and report safety information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
• Licensure required: Must be a licensed pharmacist with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.2-4 years of Retail, Mail or Specialty Pharmacy experience, preferred.
• Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams).

Pay Range

USD $145,109.00 - USD $181,387.00 /Yr.
