Job summary

LMG in Orlando, FL is seeking a seasoned Lead Quality Control/Operations Lead to steward equipment inspection, testing, and readiness for live events. You will drive daily QC activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and support multiple technical disciplines including video, audio, lighting, LED, and media systems.

This full-time position requires 5+ years in warehouse operations or AV production logistics, 2+ years leading teams, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or AV production logistics.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or supervising teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, show systems, and production workflows.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or leadership training are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, scheduling, and team development skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with inventory management and quality control processes.
  • A commitment to accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support QC Leads and Technicians across multiple technical disciplines, including video, audio, lighting, LED, and media systems.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment inspection, functionality testing, and return processing.
  • Maintain efficient workflows that support production schedules and changing operational priorities.
  • Track equipment performance trends and partner with repair and engineering teams to support preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacement decisions.
  • Oversee quality reporting and equipment failure tracking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate QC team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and accuracy.
  • Provide leadership, scheduling support, and clear direction to help the team perform at a high level.
  • Work closely with logistics, project, inventory, and warehouse stakeholders to prioritize critical show requirements and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for equipment discrepancies, missing inventory, and broader quality concerns.

What You'll Do
Lead quality control operations
