We’re seeking a Manager, Operations & Fulfillment who will own and optimize the systems behind our success. This role is perfect for a proactive, data-driven operator who excels in cross-functional environments, enjoys solving problems, driving performance, and ensuring excellence across inventory, fulfillment, and vendor performance.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will lead our inventory, fulfillment, purchasing, and operational reporting functions. You will connect backend operations with our front-end strategies, ensuring supply chain reliability, cost efficiency, and performance visibility across departments.

You will collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing, Tech, and Customer Experience teams to align supply chain operations with demand forecasts, campaign schedules, and customer expectations—driving clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own forecasting, purchasing, and inventory strategies to ensure products are in stock, accurately tracked, and purchased at the best negotiated costs.
  • Oversee fulfillment operations and third-party logistics (3PL) performance, ensuring timely delivery, controlling shipping costs, and adhering to SLAs.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics such as inventory health, refund rates, delivery timelines, vendor efficiency, and fulfillment costs.
  • Partner with Finance to analyze fulfillment cost drivers, monitor procurement budgets, and support strategic cost control efforts.
  • Act as a cross-functional operations lead to prepare backend systems for marketing, CX, and tech initiatives.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational risks or workflow breakdowns, driving resolution and improvement.
  • Support budget control and operational forecasting with reliable data and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve process gaps or bottlenecks impacting customer experience, profitability, or operational flow.
  • Contribute to system upgrades, migrations, and cross-departmental initiatives focusing on scalability and accountability.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Accurate forecasting, efficient stocking, and optimal purchasing of inventory.
  • Fulfillment partners meet SLAs with reduced costs and minimal refunds/issues.
  • Operational reports provide clear, actionable insights to Finance and Leadership.
  • Backend readiness ensures smooth launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Proactively address operational gaps, reducing friction and improving customer experience.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in operations, supply chain, fulfillment, or purchasing—preferably in DTC, eCommerce, or fast-paced CPG environments.
  • Proven experience managing 3PLs, optimizing fulfillment, and inventory performance.
  • Operational support experience for marketing and CX in dynamic campaign settings.
  • Strong analytical skills—comfortable with dashboards, cost modeling, and KPI improvements.
  • Confident in collaborating with Finance on cost tracking, forecasting, and cross-department alignment.
  • Project management experience is a plus, especially managing vendor timelines and system rollouts.
  • Bonus: experience with fulfillment cost modeling, refund analysis, or procurement financial planning.
  • Experience managing small teams or cross-functional contributors preferred.
  • Highly accountable, process-oriented, and driven to align backend performance with customer satisfaction and business goals.
